Calls for Thematic Issues
Acta Didactica Napocensia announces the following call for articles in thematic issue:
Self regulating learning of mathematics and sciences
According to Zimmerman and Schunk (2001) self regulated learning refers to self-generated thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are oriented to attaining learning goals. Self-regulated learners think about how they learn and about the goals that they want to achieve in their learning, generating feelings and actions to achieve those goals. Also, self-regulated learners monitor and evaluate their learning process, revising and adapting their learning strategies to best achieve their goals. They find reasons for choosing particular strategies and responses, being motivated by enhancement of their self-esteem or self-concept.
Deadline for sending your contribution: 30 June 2011.
